JSC Grindex received a Russian GMP certificate and thus demonstrated that its quality system meets all relevant legal requirements of one of the most important markets.
“Grindex has been operating in accordance with GMP requirements since 2003, when the company received the certificate of the European Union. Obtaining a Russian certificate, the requirements of which are harmonized with the global practices, is yet another proof that, over the years, Grindex maintained its quality system at the level of the world’s highest quality standards,” said Juris Khmelnitskis, Doctor of Chemical Sciences and the Director of Quality at JSC Grindex.
The compliance of the quality control system and manufacturing of medicinal products with the requirements of the Russian GMP was audited by inspectors of the Russian State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices, who assessed the quality system of Grindex, premises and documents, as well as the information provided by the employees during inspection. Later, the results of the inspection were submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for the decision to issue a GMP certificate.
“The audit was carried out by professionals with a very high level of competence, which reinforced our belief that the pharmaceutical products of highest quality are available to the Russian patients,” said Mr. Khmelnitskis.
