The Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between Tomsk-based Solagran Son, ArtLife, TPC SAVA and Doctor V Ltd (Sydney), a company from Australia.
The companies plan to organize, in the region, the manufacturing of biologically active dietary supplements, functional and energy drinks based on the ingredients derived from taiga berries and woody coniferous vegetation under Doctor V brand for the markets of Singapore, Australia and other Asia-Pacific countries.
“In Siberia, the region is the leader in terms of its natural resources, but it uses no more than ten percent of operational reserves. At the same time, we almost do not sell the raw materials outside the region, but instead process virtually all of them locally – Tomsk-based companies produce about a thousand products from wild crops,” said the Vice Governor Andrei Knorr.
“We consider it a great success that our products will be manufactured from the wild crops of highest quality,” said Christie Kimberly Cordelia Holden, CEO of Doctor V Pty Ltd.
Before selecting its partners, the Australian company conducted an extensive market research.
“Most of pharmaceutical products on the market do not work. But here, in the Tomsk region, we saw the products that have a real effect,” said John Joseph McGlennon, Advisor and Marketing Director of Doctor V Pty Ltd.
