Biokhimik, a Saransk-based plant producing more than 100 medicines, wants to start supplying its products to Vietnam in late 2018 – early 2019 after obtaining the registration certificates, said Dmitry Zemskov, Executive Director of the company.
“We have opened a trade representation in Vietnam. Currently, we are registering our products in this local market. This process is in its final stage. We expect to obtain registration certificates in Q4 2018 and Q1 2019. After that, we will enter the Southeast Asia market with our products,” said Mr. Zemskov.
He added that about two dozens of medicines are planned to be supplied, including antibiotics, cardiac drugs, and neurology drugs.
“Southeast Asia market is complex and saturated both by European manufacturers and manufacturers from China and India. Our competitive advantage is that, at this point, we can offer better quality and cheaper medicines,” said Mr. Zemskov.
