Leading Russian institutions became a part of BioTox international cluster

The agreement to establish BioTox, an international cluster, was signed on May 1, 2018 in Bratislava.

The cluster was established in order to combine the competencies of its participants to perform non-clinical studies on medical and environmental safety in accordance with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (GLP OECD) and international guidelines (TG OECD, ICH), as well as to develop modern academic programs for higher professional education.

BioTox cluster included the following participants:

— From Slovakia: Slovak Medical University in Bratislava; Jessenius Medical Faculty, Comenius University in Martin; University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice; SITNO PHARMA a.s., Bratislava; hameln rds a.s., Modra;

— From Germany: LAUS GmbH, Kirrweiler (Pfalz);

— From Holland and France: RX Holding & Management B.V.;

— From Russia: Farmdolina cluster, including 6 academic institutions (M.M. Shemyakin – Yu.A. Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, G. K. Skryabin Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms, Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics, Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics, Institute of Physiologically Active Substances, Institute of Medical Primatology), 2 institutions of higher education (Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) and Pushchino State Institute of Natural Sciences), 2 hospitals (Hospital of Scientific Center of RAS in Chernogolovka and Hospital of Pushchino Scientific Center of RAS) and 3 commercial companies (IL Test-Pushchino LLC, Preclinical Testing Center LLC, and ESMAR LLC).
