Chempharm opens a new shop to manufacture solid dosage forms

JSC Chempharm, the Republic of Kazakhstan, opened a new shop to manufacture solid oral medicines. The new shop, with a capacity of 200 million tablets a year, was designed with the support of an expert team from Polpharma.

It was built in accordance with GMP requirements for manufacturing the pharmaceutical products. The production shop for manufacturing solid dosage forms has the advanced equipment. Currently, it employs 72 workers, who received special training at the best production sites of Polpharma Group. The costs of building the production facility, which is an important part of investment project in Shymkent, amount to $13.5 million.

 “Today, we are launching a new production facility for solid oral medicines. Since 2011, this is the third shop in our plant built in accordance with international GMP. Our company is moving forward towards its goal of building the innovative pharmaceutical industry in Kazakhstan. Our drugs are effectively used in outpatient and inpatient medical institutions of Kazakhstan and in neighboring countries. We are proud that one more project for sustainable and breakthrough development of SANTO was successfully completed ,” said Jiri Urbanec, the General Director of the company.
