The University Center of Legal Medicine, Lausanne–Geneva and the scientific and practical center of the State Forensic Examination Committee of Belarus have signed an agreement on cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the committee. The document was signed by head of the scientific and practical center Igor Moroz and director of the university center Silke Grabherr during a visit of a delegation from Switzerland to the State Forensic Examination Committee of Belarus.
The parties discussed cooperation in forensic medicine, including the exchange of experts for on-the-job training, training programs, participation in joint seminars and conferences, joint research and development. The Swiss delegation was taken on a tour around the forensic, biological, genetic and other laboratories. The delegation visited the multi-purpose center of forensic examination, which was opened in late 2017, and got familiar with the operation of the general examination department and the biological evidence laboratory examination department.
