MOJE Keramik-Implantate, a resident of Tomsk Special Economic Zone, opened a representative office in Prague, Czech Republic, and thereby is entering the European market.
“The manufacturing company in Prague has become our representative in the Czech Republic to promote our products in Europe, such as ceramic prostheses of hand joints, ankle, radius, and elbow joints,” said Anatoly Karlov, Director of MOJE Keramik-Implantate.
He added that the Czech company does not manufacture ceramic prostheses, which are produced in Tomsk using unique technology. However, this cooperation allows Czech partners to expand their product range, while MOJE Keramik-Implantate can get ahead in the European market with the support of experienced operator.
For now, the Tomsk-based company handed over five products to its representative. Another 17 products are undergoing the required registration. Ceramic prostheses manufactured in Russia will be available in the European market as early as in September. The company plans to gradually expand its product range up to 50 items.
“Entering the European market is a strategic step,” said Mr. Karlov. “Initially the company was established in Tomsk as a joint Russian-German venture and at that time manufactured five types of prostheses. Since then we have grown, developed our own technologies, and gained the trust of consumers in Russia. Now, we want to bring our ceramics to Europe. These products are much better for the human body, and our coatings ensure high success rate. We have something to offer to the global market.”
