Joint Kazakhstan-India pharma production facility is being built in Atyrau

New drug manufacturing plant will be built in Atyrau (Kazakhstan). The project involves Meditsina JSC, NK SPK Atyrau JSC, and Sava Health Care, an Indian company. The construction is scheduled for completion in 2018.

“The cost of the project is 7.4 billion tenge. The plant will manufacture 1 billion 200 million tablets, 300 million capsules, 54 million ampoules, 12 million packages of ointments, and 16 million bottles of liquids in plastic containers for intravenous injection a year,” announced the Department of Entrepreneurship, Industrial and Innovative Development of Atyrau region.

The plant is expected to sell its products in all regions of Kazakhstan. It will employ 90 people.
