Russian drug for HIV treatment is getting close to clinical trials

This was announced on Wednesday by the Head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova at the 6th Eastern Europe and Central Asia Conference on HIV/AIDS.

“The Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor is working to create fundamentally new medicinal products for gene therapy, genetic prevention and molecular vaccination against HIV infection. It created Dinavir, a drug with high antiviral activity that is getting close to its clinical trials phase,” she said.
