This was announced by Alexander Petrov, a deputy of State Duma, at the meeting of the Board of Roszdravnadzor.

“We are against sales of medicinal products in supermarkets, we have enough pharmacies with the capacity to sell, we have no complaints from the public about not being able to reach these pharmacies. Once the problem of online sales is resolved, this will completely take this issue off the agenda,” said Mr. Petrov.

He added that the State Duma supported the draft law on online sales of medicines, but the discussion on prescription drugs was not yet over.
