The Russian Ministry of Health will purchase a blood plasma product from Nacimbio, a subsidiary of Rostec Corporation, for more than 1 billion rubles following two auctions held by the Ministry for supply of this medicine.
Nacimbio will supply Feiba, an anti-inhibitor coagulant complex and lyophilisate for preparation of solution for infusion, under two contracts in the amount of 211.2 million and 805 million rubles.
“The contract is concluded with the Participant No. 1, National Immunobiological Company Joint-Stock Company (application No. 1)…, which submitted the sole application for participation in the auction in electronic form,” indicated both documents.
In 2016-2017, the order of the Russian government appointed Nacimbio to be the sole supplier of blood plasma products.
Last year, Nacimbio supplied more than 800 million units of blood products, including more than 35 million units of anti-inhibitor coagulant complex. According to press office of Nacimbio, the supplies of eight blood plasma products amounted to nearly 9.3 billion rubles (including VAT).
