On February 14, 2018, Andrey Vorobyov, the Governor of Moscow region, delivered his annual message to the people of Moscow region. He talked about the achievements of the past five years and described the regional leadership strategy and development plans for the coming years.
In his speech, Andrey Vorobyov said that a new industrial park will be established in the city of Pushchino in the fall of 2018. Its area will be 60 hectares, and the investments from the regional budget will reach about 1.5 billion rubles. The industrial park will host the pharmaceutical plants, that will attract 15 billion rubles of investments, creating 1.2 thousand new jobs.
The Governor also spoke about improving the life expectancy in the region, which has increased by three years over the past five years. Currently, it is 73 years. These results were achieved due to the well-designed preventive medical examination system for the public. 500 health care facilities were renovated in the past three years. The plans for the next two years provide for completing the repairs of child outpatient clinics and practically all adult outpatient clinics. To provide people greater convenience for receiving health care services, it is necessary to intensify the efforts to create the electronic medical records. By the end of 2019, they should be in place not only in child outpatient clinics but also in the adult outpatient clinics.
