Sergey Sobyanin, the Mayor of Moscow, and Vladimir Shcherbakov, the General Director of Bright Way Industries, a pharmaceutical company, signed an agreement to establish a pharmaceutical plant in Zelenograd.
Under this agreement, the company undertakes to build a pharmaceutical plant in Zelenograd’s Technopolis Moscow special economic zone (SEZ). The new enterprise will manufacture medicinal products for the treatment of disorders of the digestive tract, metabolism, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, nervous, and respiratory systems. The plant will have the area of about 30 thousand square meters and create at least 356 new jobs. The estimated investments in the project are 1.9 billion rubles.
“Today, we are signing an agreement with Bright Way Industries on establishing a production facility in Alabushevo area of the special economic zone. I hope that the company will build an innovative production facility to manufacture 55 drugs, that are extremely important and needed by Muscovites and all Russians, expand the nomenclature of medicines produced in Russia, make us less dependent on imports, and create the foundation for further development of Moscow pharmaceutical cluster,” said Sergey Sobyanin.
