New Pharmasyntez plant will produce 30 types of hormonal drugs

About 30 types of hormonal drugs will be manufactured at the new plant in Tyumen region, which will become the only enterprise in Russia to specialize in the manufacturing of these products. The investments in the project will amount to 3.5 billion rubles, said Vikram Singh Punia, the President of Pharmasyntez, during a meeting of the Council on Improvement of Investment Climate under the head of the region.

“We are planning to manufacture 30 types of hormonal drugs at the new enterprise. We completed the design for building a plant worth 3.5 billion rubles. Soon, we will receive the construction permit,” he said.

During the meeting of the Council, the President of the company and the Governor Vladimir Yakushev have signed an agreement on expanding the cooperation in the area of chemical and pharmaceutical industry.

“We are interested in the arrival of new investors to the region and are ready to provide them a comprehensive state support. In fact, we welcome all those who choose today the Tyumen region for investment and joint work with us,” said Mr. Yakushev.

According to the earlier reports, the new import substituting production facility in the Tyumen region will be one of the most advanced in the world. The project provides for the construction of a manufacturing building with the surface area of 6 thousand square meters, a shop for pilot projects with the surface area of 350 square meters and an automated warehouse. The production of drugs is scheduled to start in 2020, and the payback period of the project is 5.5 years.
