In accordance with the Decree of the Russian President signed on December 25, Moscow Industrial Chemical and Pharmaceutical Association named after N.A. Semashko (N.A. Semashko Moskhimfarmpreparaty JSC) was transferred to Rostec as the asset contribution of the Russian Federation.
The document stated as follows, “To accept the proposal of the Government of the Russian Federation on the transfer of 7,199,160 ordinary registered uncertified shares of the Open Joint Stock Company “Moscow Industrial Chemical and Pharmaceutical Association named after N.A. Semashko” constituting 100 percent of its authorized capital and held in the federal ownership to the State Corporation for Assistance to Development, Production and Export of Advanced Technology Industrial Products “Rostec” as the asset contribution of the Russian Federation.”
The Russian government should implement the transfer of the company within 12 months.
N.A. Semashko Moskhimfarmpreparaty was established in 1882 and is the oldest company in the Russian pharmaceutical industry. Its product portfolio includes more than 100 drugs of various pharmacotherapeutic groups.
