Valenta Pharm is authorized to put its new plant into operation

Valenta Pharm announced that it was authorized by the Ministry of Construction Complex of the Moscow Region to put into operation the building of its new pharmaceutical plant located in the city of Shchelkovo.

The total surface area of the plant is 19 thousand sq. m.

The new production facilities are used for manufacturing solid dosage forms (tablets and capsules) and injectable drugs. They also host the quality control labs and a large research center. The new plant of Valenta Pharm has the latest equipment from leading European manufacturers. Complex utility systems, high-precision equipment and advanced IT solutions form a unique and fully automated process of drug manufacturing.

The design of the plant was fully qualified for GMP compliance.  All stages meet the requirements of international good manufacturing practices. The facilities are using computerized business management system (BMS) and warehouse management system (WMS). The implementation of manufacturing execution system (MES) is scheduled for the near future.

The capacity of the plant is 2 billion tablets and capsules and 30 million ampoules a year.
