The second production line to manufacture aluminum tubes designed for food processing, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries was launched by Linhardt-Altai LLC, a joint venture between Russia, Germany and Austria.

Linhardt-Altai was the first company beyond the Urals which, in 2013, began to manufacture modern packaging for the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. Before that, no aluminum cans for aerosol products were produced in Russia. The Russian manufacturing of tubes and cans reduces the retail prices of drugs, as these products cost 30-40% less than their imported analogs.

Currently, the product range includes aluminum tubes and aluminum aerosol monobloc cans. The company has a registration certificate for medical devices (tubes and cans).

The new tube-manufacturing line will allow the company to significantly expand its product range and reduce time for manufacturing the tubes due to its higher productivity.

Today, the main consumers of tubes and aerosol cans include the companies of Altai biopharmaceutical cluster, such as Altaivitaminy CJSC and Two Lines LLC. The manufacturer supplies its products to Moscow, St. Petersburg, major centers in the Central Federal District, Northwestern Federal District, Southern Federal District and Volga Federal District, including such companies as Pharmstandart PJSC, Syntez JSC, Zelenaya Dubrava CJSC, and Tula Pharmaceutical Factory LLC.
