Russian specialists will have access to ISPE products and literature


Russian specialists will be able to have access to ISPE products and literature as early as this year. This was announced by representatives of the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The Eurasian regional office of ISPE will be opened in Russia in October. The representatives of the Institute added that this expert organization is well-known in the global pharmaceutical market and promotes the best practices in the area of manufacturing of medicinal products (biotechnology, pharmaceutical engineering). It is also involved in the development and production of personalized drugs.

Today, we stand on the verge of personalized medicine, that will take into account individual patient specific variables to make the use of drugs the most efficient. ISPE, which brings together more than 20 thousand members from more than 90 countries, accumulates and develops such expertise and best global practices in the pharmaceutical engineering, said Alexander Sharonov, the President of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering in EAEU.

According to the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices, the opening of the regional ISPE branch will allow to “translate into Russian the latest pharmaceutical regulations and specialized literature, including the required technical manuals, and introduce them into the pharmaceutical industry.”
