Park of Active Molecules and Montpellier Agglomeration will collaborate


The memorandums on scientific partnership between the organizations of Montpellier Agglomeration and Kaluga region were signed in the city of Montpellier (France).

The French side was represented by the University of Montpellier, which the member of the National Center for Scientific Research, and such companies as CILcare, ChainOrchestra, and ChainHero. On the part of Kaluga region, the documents were signed by the Agency for Innovative Development of Kaluga region and Park of Active Molecules (PAM), an Obninsk-based biopharmaceutical alliance of competencies.

The parties considered innovations in medicine, including the synthesis of active compounds, development of new drugs for treatment of socially important diseases, expansion and exchange of knowledge about the use of advanced technology, as the main areas of their cooperation.

The specific operational programs of cooperation include the agreements of PAM with CILcare, the world’s leading service company in the area of therapeutic solutions for patients with hearing impairments; ChainOrchestra, an operator of BNO blockchain; and ChainHero, an expert on blockchain editors. The goal of partnership between PAM and CILcare is to test the efficacy and safety of new molecules, that are drug candidates for the treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus. The cooperation with ChainOrchestra and ChainHero is aimed at establishing and implementing an information platform for biopharmaceutical projects with integrated decentralized autonomous system of collaboration between participants of biotech environment regardless of their location.
