A pharmaceutical enterprise is planned to be established in the Dagestani city of Kaspiysk with the financing by investors from Iran.

This was announced by Emin Aliyev, the representative of the Republic of Dagestan at the Russian trade mission in Iran.

“The Iranian investors are ready to invest about 15-16 million dollars in a pharmaceutical enterprise near Kaspiysk in Dagestan,” said Mr. Aliev, without specifying the capacity of the plant or the period for implementing the project.

Mr. Aliyev noted that the establishment of such enterprise is greatly important in the current situation, when Russia is largely dependent on the supplies of imported medicinal products.
