Belarus is ready to support Azerbaijan in the development of its pharmaceutical industry, said Belarusian Minister of Health Valery Malashko.
He added that Belarus is interested in establishing a joint venture with Azerbaijan in this area.
“Azerbaijan intends to develop its pharmaceutical sector and we understand that it is necessary not only to export the finished dosage forms to Azerbaijan, but also to assist in the development of this area. We want and are ready to participate in the development of pharmaceutical industry in Azerbaijan,” said Mr. Malashko.
He added that, currently, the countries are discussing the issue of establishing a joint venture.
“At this point, I can only say that it will be a joint venture. On the Azerbaijani side, the plans provide for the participation of Azerbaijan Investment Company in the project,” said Mr. Malashko.
