Speaking on the sidelines of Biotechmed 2017, a specialized conference held in Gelendzhik, Sergey Chemezov, the CEO of Rostec, said that, by 2020, the companies of this State Corporation will invest more than 6 billion rubles in the health care projects.
According to Sergey Chemezov, the development of health care sector is among the strategic priorities of the State Corporation. The expansion on the new high-tech markets for civil use products will require a broad investment program, which Rostec is ready to implement.
“We are planning to invest over 3 billion rubles in creation of a number of vaccines for rotavirus infection, human papilloma virus, chicken pox, pneumococcus; a combined MMR vaccine against three infections, including measles, rubella and mumps; and others. The projects in this area will be implemented by Nacimbio. Another 3 billion rubles are planned for investment in the development of new medical equipment, which will allow to create more than 100 new models of up-to-date medical devices. In Rostec, this will be the area of responsibility for Schwabe holding company, POZiS and a number of other companies,” said Sergey Chemezov.
