At the meeting of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the members of the Board established, under the Commission, the Expert Committee of the Union on Medicines.
According to Valery Koreshkov, a member of the Board (Minister) of EEC, this is an important decision aimed at building the effective common drug market of the Union, which began to operate this May.
“In the Expert Committee, each member state of the Union has three representatives, who are competent in the administration of the drug market, and issues of pharmaceutical and clinical and pharmacological expert examination of registration dossiers,” said Valery Koreshkov.
The Committee will focus on resolving the differences that may arise in the expert examination of registration dossiers, selection of reference drug when planning the studies of medicinal products. In addition, the members of the Committee will analyze and look for solutions of other challenging issues not reflected in the regulations on drugs adopted by the Commission.
