According to Alexander Sergeev, the head of JSC Biocom, the company starts implementation of a large-scale 500 million ruble program to upgrade its production facility.
The program is expected to be partially financed with the money provided by the Industrial Development Fund of the Russian Federation. The upgrade of equipment will bring manufacturing to a new technological level, almost double the output, and will allow to launch 5 new medicinal products.
Biocom is a leader of Russian pharmaceutical industry and is certified in accordance with international GMP standard.
In the future, Biocom plans to further upgrade its production facility by attracting investments on a smaller scale. For new projects, Dmitry Makarkin, the Deputy Minister of Energy, Industry and Communication of the Stavropol Krai, proposed to consider the possibility of using the money provided by the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) of the Stavropol Krai with the participation of the federal IDF.
“The regional Industrial Development Fund starts its operations in the Stavropol Krai. In the future, we are ready to support the upgrading of production facilities through the Fund,” said the Deputy Minister.
In addition, Biocom was invited to consider the possibility of concluding an investment agreement with the Government of the Stavropol Krai, which will allow the company to obtain tax preferences related to the commissioning of new equipment.
