National Immunobiological Company, a part of Rostec Corporation, and the Government of Chelyabinsk Region signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing the Russian pharmaceutical industry and establishing a highly developed area of medical specialization. The document was signed by Boris Dubrovsky, the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, and Maryam Khubieva, the CEO of Nacimbio. The plans for cooperation include establishing a network of blood plasma collection centers, a laboratory facility for conducting medical analyses and a site for manufacturing the medical devices in Chelyabinsk.
Maryam Khubieva, the CEO of Nacimbio, said, “The partnership has a long-term goal to ensure the provision of healthcare system with high-quality and affordable medical services and medicines at the regional and federal levels. We are pleased to have found such a partner as the Governor of the region Boris Dubrovsky, who shares our values and is willing to support the projects aimed at developing the Russian pharmaceutical industry.”
Boris Dubrovsky, the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, said, “The agreement is a part of the program to establish a highly developed area of medical specialization in Chelyabinsk region by attracting and implementing the investment projects. It is especially important that we have used the mechanism of public-private partnership for this project.”
