SID & GP and Kazakhstan National Centre for Expertise of Medicines signed a Memorandum on сooperation

Оn February 7, 2017, the representatives of Federal Budgetary Institution «State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices» and Republican State Enterprise with the right of economic management National Center for Expertise of Medicines, Medical Devices and Medical Equipment of Kazakhstan Ministry of Health had a meeting.

The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. The document is a prominent landmark in the dialogue of our countries aimed at ensuring the drug safety within the territory of EAEU. Similar documents have already been signed with Armenia and Belarus. At the moment, the negotiations with Kyrgyz Republic are in progress.

Vladislav Shestakov, director of the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices, has pointed out: “Complying with EAEU principles of coordinated, coherent and uniform policy in all branches of economic activity, our cooperation will allow for more productive interaction in the field of harmonization of the approaches towards the inspection of pharmaceutical production facilities in our countries. I am positive that sharing the information and joint educational programs that we have outlined during the meeting will coordinate our stance at the international forums on production control and distribution of medicinal products, provide institutional and procedural support in the use of international standards regulating production of pharmaceuticals including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).”
