On January 18, Alexey Komissarov, Director of the Federal Industry Development Fund, paid a working visit to Kirov region. The first production site that he visited was a biomedical complex NANOLEK where within the framework of a tour he was demonstrated the production laboratories and biotechnological production.
The Industry Development Fund stands as a partner of NANOLEK in terms of the program on subsidizing interest expense on borrowings to implement the project on setting up a biotechnological vaccine and biologics production in accordance with GMP standards. Such partnership is carried out in accordance with RF Governmental Decree No.3 (granting subsidies from the federal budget for reimbursement of the expenses, partly, to pay the interest on loans obtained from the Russian lending organizations within the period 2014-2016).
Subject to the requirements, the facilities should be used to implement new comprehensive investment projects in the priority areas of civil industry. The subsidies shall be granted under the condition that the investment project is listed among the comprehensive investment projects in the priority areas of civil industry of the Ministry for Industry and Trade.
“Within the scope of the import substitution program, a number of enterprises successfully employed tools administered by the Fund: in particular, obtained subsidizing of expenses, partly, for any purposes related to the production development. Our target is to support as many projects as possible that will eventually work for the benefit of the region and the country at large,” said Komissarov.
According to the Director of the Fund, it is critical to have good and strong interaction with the Senior management of the region and personally with the Governor, since the regional authorities are the ones who know best which projects to implement and how, which projects are in demand and which niches exist for new opportunities and which required competencies and skills are available in the region.
