Championship III in cross-industry blue-collar jobs of hi-tech section took place in Yekaterinburg from October 30th to November 3d. R-Pharm group acted as the organizer of the competence “Laboratory Chemical Analysis”.
Chairman of Board of Directors of R-Pharm group and the President of “Business Russia” Alexey Repik took the floor at the plenary session of the championship. In his report Alexey Repik noted that non-qualified personnel increase the load upon business. “Often when we get low skilled personnel or employees who do not fully meet our tasks a colossal “new tax” on business occurs. Low trained employees equial very high “tax” and this is a giant factor that increases production costs and decreases the quality of our products, which makes us non-competitive even at the domestic market”, he explained.
According to Alexey Repik, the number of people who can occupy the working places after getting an education is miniscule. “If we do not train competitive specialists then we will lose our future. And it is clear to me why the representatives of the companies sitting in this room have chosen to support WorldSkills movement”, said Alexey Repik. Upon that the training of highly qualified personnel in the hi-tech industry is of prime importance. “Worldskills is just one discipline and one can simply run fast. And Worldskills High-Tech is something like a multidiscipline competition, pentathlon or decathlon. I mean it is not enough just to run fast, one has to count well, allocate the recourses and efforts”, states the Chairman of Board of Directors of R-Pharm group.
Competence “Laboratory Chemical Analysis” that was represented at the championship, has existed since 2014. It can be considered as “young” compared to other competition venues but nevertheless it gathered about 20 participants and more than 30 experts from different enterprises and corporations for Hi-Tech 2016. Besides R-Pharm, the general partner of the event, the following leading companies of the industry were present at venue: Rosneft, Rosatom state corporation, Lukoil, Sibur, Taneko, St. Petersburg Scientific Research Institute of Vaccines and Sera.
